Meet the Owner :)
From My Heart to Yours
Hi, I’m Maddalena, a mom of three, an early childhood educator, an author, and the heart behind Lil Punk Monsters.
Two of my children are autistic, and motherhood changed the way I see the world, especially the way children are understood, included, and supported. My journey into special education started early. I began working and volunteering in special needs classrooms as early as third grade, long before I knew this path would become so personal.
Creativity has always been a part of who I am. Before Lil Punk Monsters ever became clothing, it lived on canvas. I paint, create characters, and tell stories through art. Every Lil Punk Monsters character was first imagined and painted by hand, bringing their personalities to life long before they appeared on shirts, hoodies, or joggers.
I went on to graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Education, where my passion for inclusive learning, child development, and creative expression continued to grow. During my time in college, I was honored to receive a Literature Badge in recognition of my writing and storytelling.
That love of storytelling led me to write my first children’s book, This Is Jeffrey Jr., inspired by my son. The book is about autism, communication, and kindness, and how you can be a friend even if you are not the same. It is written for children, but its message reaches far beyond them.
In addition to my children’s books, I am releasing a memoir about autism parenting later this year, sharing the moments that are not always seen or talked about. It is an honest reflection of motherhood, advocacy, resilience, and love, written for families who may see themselves in these pages.
More children’s books in this series are already in the works and scheduled for release in 2026, continuing the mission of inclusion, understanding, and empathy.
Lil Punk Monsters is more than clothing. It is art, storytelling, and lived experience combined. It is a brand built on acceptance, creativity, confidence, and the belief that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated, exactly as they are.
